We absolutely love working together every day - our day often starts with a swim in the surf first thing, a quick coffee & then straight into another busy day. We feel incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to meet people from all over New Zealand & the World, we love to engage & learn about people's adventures & their cultures, we have been lucky enough throughout this journey to have made some lifelong connections.

Southpacific Motel and Conference Centre is a family run business, located in Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Check this out - we have partnered with The Whangamata Real Estate Community Swimming Pool which is a hop step and jump from The South Pacific Motel, come see us and talk to us about free entry, they are open year-round, heated to 27 degrees. Lane swimming is always available and inflatable toys are ready to go for the kids (and big kids). Always staffed by trained lifeguards, the Poolsafe accredited pool is safe and fun for the family!

The studios are one room with an en suite bathroom and the one bedroom apartments have a separate lounge for the bedroom and en suite bathrooms.
All our one-bedrooms were completely refitted only two years ago and offer some of the best motel accommodation in Whangamata.

We can also arrange off-site activities such as fishing charters, group mountain biking, bush walking trips or the famous kayak excursion out to Donut Island here in Whangamata.

A friendly and comfortable motel for a stopover in Whangamata! 'KB', mein host, was most welcoming, on my arrival. Due to low midweek occupancy, my room was upgraded and the views from both windows were great. There was a large table under one window, so i requested to stay a further night, so i could have a writing/office day in such a wonderful room (Suite 23). There were several ranks of shops down the road and KB was very helpful in advising where to go - including which beach for a swim!
